CSC's statement on the government decree on data management committee of public administration

CSC highlights the importance of information security, interoperability and data management in public administration. It is crucial that the committee has sufficient expertise on requirements concerning the authenticity and preservation of data. Additional attention has to be paid to the process of disposal of data.

CSC is worried that the human resources allocated to the committee are not sufficient. Secretaries of the committee have broad responsibilities, yet they are performing their assignment in the committee along with their other tasks. Secretaries should also meet the same criteria as committee members in order to be eligible to the committee.
