The fee covers all materials, lunches as well as morning and afternoon coffees. |
This hands-on course introduces the participants to RNA-seq data analysis concepts and tools. It covers the whole workflow from quality control and alignment to quantification and differential expression analysis. Teaching is provided by Eija Korpelainen and Maria Lehtivaara, CSC.
This course is the last part of the CSC BioWeek.
Pre-requisites
Previous knowledge of Unix and R is required. "Introduction to R" and "Using Taito cluster for high throughput data analysis" -courses organised on the same week will give you a good background knowledge for this course.
Learning outcomes
After the course the participants understand the basic steps of RNA-seq data analysis, and know the working principles and most used parameters of some of the most commonly used tools.
On Friday we start at 9:00.
