This course provides a tutorial-style, practical introduction to computational tools for physics research, with a focus on the infrastructure provided by CSC. The topics will include, e.g., managing your datasets, running analyses on a grid or a computer cluster and Unix power use. The second day is partially devoted to Geophysics. The workshop provides a comprehensive overview on the computational physics's tools, without forgetting the important aspect of network building.
