Tutkimus-, kehitys- ja innovaatiotoiminta

CSC etsii aktiivisesti mahdollisuuksia uusien innovaatioiden ja palveluiden kehittämiseksi asiakkaillemme. Tehtävämme on pitää Suomi tutkimuksen kärkimaana. Seuraamme järjestelmällisesti erilaisia rahoitusmahdollisuuksia tuodaksemme kansainväliset huippuinnovaatiot suomalaisen korkeakoulusektorin käyttöön ja osallistuaksemme tulevaisuuden avainteknologioiden ja -palveluiden kehittämiseen. Suurimpia tutkimus, kehitys- ja innovaatiohankkeidemme rahoittajia ovat Suomen Akatemia, Business Finland, NeIC sekä Euroopan unionin CEF-, Horisontti 2020- ja EARK-ohjelmat.

Osallistumme lähes 50:een ulkoisen rahoituksen tutkimus-, kehitys- ja innovaatiohankkeeseen yhdessä kumppaneidemme kanssa. Tämä yhteistyö tuo suoria hyötyjä Suomeen, sillä se auttaa meitä tarjoamaan johtavia palveluita, kuten maailmanluokan laskenta- ja datanhallintapalveluita, suoraan suomalaisille tutkijoille. Lisäksi hankkeiden avulla tuomme suomalaiset näkökulmat kansainväliseen keskusteluun yhteisistä standardeista ja käytännöistä, mikä lisää Suomen kilpailukykyä ja edesauttaa laajasti suomalaista yhteiskuntaa.

Arrowhead Tools

The Arrowhead Tools project aims for digitalisation and automation solutions for the European industry by introducing new technologies in an open source platform for the design and run-time engineering of IoT and System of Systems.

EU-OPENSCREEN ERIC (EU-OS), the European Research Infrastructure Consortium for Chemical Biology, provides access to a distributed network of national screening and chemistry facilities, a common database, and a central headquarter that manages the joint compound collection and coordinates project flow and training.

Euclid

Euclid Cosmology Mission is the next cosmology satellite of the European Space Agency (ESA). The main object of Euclid is to solve the mystery of dark energy – why is the expansion of the universe accelerating. One of the EUCLID Science Data Centers will be located in Finland, led by the University of Helsinki and as a collaboration of several Finnish Universities and CSC.
