Heurekassa maaliskuun ensimmäisenä viikonloppuna järjestettävissä työpajoissa lapset ja koululaiset pääsevät CSC:n asiantuntijoiden ohjaamana kasaamaan ja kokeilemaan laitetta, jonka laskentateho on monikertainen tavalliseen kotikoneeseen verrattuna.
This course provides a comprehensive, tutorial-style, hands-on, introductory and intermediate-level treatment to the essential ingredients for molecular modeling and computational chemistry using modern supercomputers. Standard approaches such as classical and ab initio molecular dynamics, electronic structure models as well as several more special topics are explained and exemplified by prominent researchers in the field. The workshop is a must for graduate students in the field, providing an overview on "what can be calculated and how should it be done", without forgetting the important aspect of network building.
The purpose of the webinar is to give a brief glimpse on how time can be saved and errors avoided by introducing automation into cloud work from the very beginning. The goal is to describe at least part of the manual operations work done in previous webinars in a format that allows redoing the same work with minimal user input.
The purpose of this hack day is to provide the attendees with a distraction-free day to spend on developing HPC applications.
This webinar explains how and where to install your own applications or software not installed by CSC.
This course covers the modern features of the Fortran programming language. Topics include object-oriented features, language interoperability and several other enhancements available at the Fortran 2008 standard.
Opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriön tietovarastopalveluiden kokonaisuuteen liittyvän tiedon avaaminen tiedolla johtamisen tueksi Korkeakouluilla on tarve päästä hyödyntämään Opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriön keräämiä tietoja (Opetushallinnon tilastopalvelu Vipunen sekä korkeakoulujen valtakunnallisen tietovarannon VIRTA-palvelut) valmiiden vuosittaisten tilastoraporttien lisäksi myös reaaliaikaisesti omissa tiedolla johtamisen tuen business intelligence -järjestelmissään. Näin korkeakoulut voivat ketterästi esimerkiksi tuottaa vertailevia päivittäistilastoja oman toimintansa ohjaamisen ja suuntaamisen tueksi ja benchmarkingin pohjaksi. Tietovarastoforum on kutsuttu koolle keskustelemaan tietojen hyödyntämismahdollisuuksista.
National discussion event on the Research Data Alliance.
Tervetuloa mukaan yhdeksänteen avoimeen Tietovarastoforumiin Tampereen ammattikorkeakoululle 31. maaliskuuta 2016. Tilaisuudessa käsitellään opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriön tuottaman, keräämän ja käytössäolevan tiedon avaamista ja hyödyntämistä mm. koulutusorganisaatioiden oman toiminnan ohjaamisessa ja benchmarking-tarkoituksissa.
