CSC Sensitive Data services: Analyzing Registry Data in Audited Secondary Use Environment
CSC Sensitive Data services have now an audited secondary use environment for analyzing sensitive social and health care data collected from public registries. Sensitive Data (SD) Desktop is registered as a secondary use environment. When processing registry data, it has some restrictions compared to the standard service.
During the webinar, we will give a brief overview of CSC Sensitive Data services and explain how SD Desktop can be used for secondary use registry data. We will introduce the main features and restrictions of the audited environment and how it complies with the Findata regulation. We will also describe the whole process from applying service access to terminating the project when the analysis is completed. In addition, there will be an Q&A session at the end of the webinar where you can ask questions from our experts.
Since May 2022, the Act on the Secondary Use of Health and Social Data has required all secondary use registry data to be analyzed in audited computing environment. As all the other CSC services, the audited SD Desktop environment is provided for researchers affiliated with a Finnish academic organizations and their collaborators, according to CSC General terms of use.
The event is open to anyone interested in knowing more about CSC Sensitive Data Services for secondary use data and the audited computing environment. The webinar will be recorded, and the recording will be available for the participants for a limited time.
The same webinar was organized in September in Finnish, titled ”Rekisteriaineistojen analysointi CSC:n auditoidussa toisiokäyttöympäristössä”.
