Rahti Cloud containers course fundamentals – OpenShift/Kubernetes

In this course, the fundamental concepts of Kubernetes based container orchestration are illustrated using the Rahti platform from a practical viewpoint. We shall focus on the user’s point of view for using Rahti. Important aspects of running and maintaining containerized workloads are emphasized. After this course, the participants will be able to execute, construct, and maintain container workloads in Rahti.

No previous knowledge of cloud computing nor containers is required. Knowing what containers are is a benefit but is not required to participate in this course. A modest amount of familiarity with Linux is expected and for some of the exercises, a Github account is required.

Optionally, participants may attend Pouta Cloud Computing Course a day earlier about cloud computing basics and know about CSC’s Pouta IaaS clouds.
