ADAC

The Accelerated Data Analytics and Computing Institute (ADAC)

The Accelerated Data Analytics and Computing Institute (ADAC) exists to find collaboration opportunities and ways to advance high-performance computing between several expert institutions. ADAC focuses on enhancing application software readiness for GPU-accelerated supercomputers. Through its symposiums and workshops, ADAC provides a platform for knowledge sharing and innovation: ADAC's mission includes adapting key scientific applications to hybrid architectures, collaborating with HPC vendors, promoting energy-efficient computing, and ensuring the sustainability of essential applications.

ADAC has several objectives that relate to performance, hardware, and applications, and there are several working groups that strive towards these objectives. CSC has several representatives in the different working groups and the governing bodies (see more at https://adac.ornl.gov/people/).
