European Association of Research Managers and Administrators

​European Association of Researcher Managers and Administrators (EARMA) is a membership for project managers and administrators​. It has a strong community of research managers and administrators from around 360 institutions in 40 countries​, and it plays a crucial role in advancing the profession of research management, contributing to the success of research endeavors across Europe. EARMA provides a platform for networking, professional development, and the exchange of best practices among its members that include universities, research organizations, and funding bodies. In addition, the association offers accredited education programs, continuous professional development opportunities, and regular training sessions designed to keep members current in their field.

One of EARMA's flagship events is its annual conference, which gathers over a thousand participants. This premier event serves as a vital platform for sharing best practices, discussing emerging challenges in the field, and facilitating professional development. Topics addressed include artificial intelligence, academic freedom, open research, and the evolving role of research managers and administrators.
