EUNIS
European University Information Systems Organization
EUNIS, the European University Information Systems Organization, is a non-profit organization founded in 1993. EUNIS' mission is to help member institutions develop their IT landscape by sharing experiences: EUNIS brings together those who are responsible for the management, development and the policy for Information Technology in Higher Education in Europe.
EUNIS contributes to the development of high quality information systems by encouraging exchange, cooperation and discussions between higher education institutions and research institutions in the European higher education area. To bring people together EUNIS organizes annual congresses and rectors' congresses. In addition, there are several Task Forces and Special Interest Groups operating under EUNIS which convene frequently to share information and build best practices. EUNIS also publishes the European Journal of Higher Education IT and with ERAI - the EUNIS Research and Analysis Initiative - provides a platform for sharing information about the use and trends of IT in the European Higher Education area.
CSC serves as a link between Finnish Higher Education Institutions and their international counterparts by actively disseminating information gained from international cooperation networks such as EUNIS.
