euroCRIS

The international organisation for research information

euroCRIS is an international not-for-profit association that brings together experts on Current Research Information Systems (CRIS) to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange. The purpose of this is to advance research information management and interoperability. In addition, euroCRIS offers services to the international research information community: the Common European Research Information Format (CERIF), a standard designed to enhance the interoperability of research information, and the international Directory of Research Information Systems (DRIS), which offers a comprehensive overview of CRIS infrastructures worldwide.

In addition to being an institutional member, Joonas Nikkanen represents CSC in the euroCRIS board. CSC is also currently leading the efforts for the CRISCROS working group that aims to bring together experts building national and regional research portals.
