GÉANT

GÉANT is a collaborative initiative of 39 European National Research and Education Networks (NRENs), including CSC, dedicated to advancing research, education, and innovation on a global scale. The GÉANT network is a crucial part of Europe's e-infrastructure, as it provides high-speed, reliable connectivity that enables collaboration among researchers and educators. The GÉANT network is the largest research and education network in the world, and it connects over 50 million users at 10 000 institutions.

In addition to the network infrastructure, GÉANT provides a selection of different services for the research and education community. For example, GÉANT provides connectivity solutions, cloud services, and trust and identity services. The purpose of all of these is to create a secure and efficient environment for academic collaboration.
