RIPE
Réseaux IP Européens
RIPE (Réseaux IP Européens) is a collaborative forum that supports the technical coordination and development of the Internet in Europe – it is the "home" of European IP addresses and related resources. The RIPE NCC (Network Coordination Centre) acts as the Regional Internet Registry (RIR), and it manages IP address allocations and Autonomous System Numbers (ASNs) in its service region. Other key services include maintaining the RIPE Database, providing training and research on Internet infrastructure, and supporting initiatives for a stable and secure global Internet.
RIPE facilitates discussions on Internet governance, security, and network infrastructure among industry professionals, regulators, and researchers. Through working groups, policy development, and regular meetings, it helps shape the future of the Internet. RIPE also provides training and certification for its members.
