CSC employs experts from a wide range of disciplines, and this diversity is also reflected in our summer job opportunities. We offer roles for those interested in technical topics as well as for those who enjoy working in business, project, and customer-facing roles.
Positions are available at our offices in Espoo and Kajaani. Our working languages are English or Finnish, depending on the position. The specific requirements for each role are described separately in each job posting.
CSC’s summer trainees can take part in the Summer Xperience program, which includes networking opportunities and shared events. The aim is to help trainees get to know one another and to enrich the overall summer traineeship experience. You will build connections that can support you well into the future.
“CSC’s culture is open, diverse, and international. With us, everyone can be themselves and find their place in a community where different perspectives are valued. How to apply?
You can apply for a summer job with us if you are a university or university of applied sciences student, or if you have graduated from higher education in early 2026. All summer positions are paid. The salary depends on the stage of your studies, but is at least €2,100 per month.
Start by exploring our open positions in the Careers pages, where you can access our recruitment system and submit your application. Your application should include a CV and a short cover letter describing who you are and what motivates you – why do you want to do a summer traineeship with us in particular? You may apply for more than one open position. If you are applying for multiple roles listed in the same posting, a single application is enough. However, separate applications are required when applying to different postings. The application period for summer jobs in 2026 is open until 15 February.
The recruitment process progresses in stages. We may interview applicants already during the application period, and selections are made as soon as a suitable candidate is found. Interviews will be held either remotely or at our offices. We aim to complete all selections for open summer positions by March 31st, after which applicants who were not selected will also be informed that the recruitment process has ended. We hope that selected candidates can start working in May–June. The typical duration of a summer employment period is approximately 4–5 months, and many interns continue working with us after the summer. In autumn 2025, as many as 75% of our summer trainees continued at CSC.
We offer summer positions for students at different stages of their studies. CSC employs people from a wide range of educational backgrounds, and not all roles require a technical degree. In some positions, prior experience in the relevant field is considered an advantage, but the most important qualities are curiosity and a willingness to learn.
