The Linux Foundation

The Linux Foundation provides a neutral home for hundreds of open source projects and support a community of thousands of developers. It hosts globally critical open source projects, the most known being the Linux kernel. While The Linux Foundation provides tools and operations support for the projects, it also has a strong focus on the community, including an environment of diversity and inclusion. The Linux Foundation also hosts other open source Foundations under its umbrella.

CSC participates in The Linux Foundation as an associate member. The Linux Foundation hosts tens of projects that are important for CSC. As CSC, we also have a long history of active adoption and contribution to open source, which makes membership in The Linux Foundation a natural fit.
