In memoriam: Matti Ihamuotila – the builder of co-operation

CSC’s previous managing director Matti Ihamuotila passed away in the end of February. Matti Ihamuotila created an extensive career in Finland as an influencer in IT sector and was a driving force in the creation of the Funet network for universities and research. As a director Matti was persistent in his work and had a great will to fight which was needed in the difficult times.

Matti Ihamuotila was leading CSC for 25 years before getting to pension and paved our way to future by creating a strong basis as a strong and appreciated company. His memory lives at CSC in years to come.
