Mondays with MATLAB – Nordic HPC Workshops

We are very excited to let you know that MathWorks are back with their long-standing HPC workshop series “Mondays with MATLAB” in its 4th year now. The collaboration between CSC Finland continues this year and we will be offering a hands-on workshop on our HPC cluster.
The Mondays with MATLAB Workshop Series Schedule

The workshop series spans from the 9th to the 23rd of September, with 3 separate sessions:

• Workshop 1 (9th September 2024): Introduction to the basics of parallel computing with MATLAB.
• Workshop 2 (16th September 2024): Building AI systems with MATLAB, from no-code machine learning and low-code deep learning and Python.
• Workshop 3 (24th September 2024): Learn how to use MATLAB on your local HPC clusters, with hands-on examples and support from them.

The aims of this workshop are to:

• Introduce concepts of parallelisation, multi-core and GPU-computing to researchers using MATLAB
• Lead researchers through examples of building, training, and integrating AI models in their research
• Demonstrate via a hands-on session how to submit jobs to the national supercomputing infrastructures
• Provide free consulting for research projects using MATLAB on HPC
