LUMI-AI supercomputer delivers a tenfold increase in AI capacity
The EuroHPC Joint Undertaking has signed a procurement contract with Bull to deliver LUMI-AI, a next-generation supercomputer that will serve as the computing backbone of the LUMI AI Factory, supporting both industrial AI innovation and academic research. The new system is expected to deliver a tenfold increase in AI capacity while nearly doubling the HPC capability of the current LUMI supercomputer. Visualization: NOAR – Nordic Architects.

LUMI AI Factory chose IQM Quantum Computers to deliver LUMI-IQ. This advanced quantum computer will have a QPU with 150 qubits, followed by a series of upgrades that will improve error correction and the reliability of logical qubits.
