TNC26 is about Digital Sisu – Call for Proposals is now open
The largest research and education networking conference in Europe, TNC, will be hosted in Finland for the first time on 8–12 June 2026. The theme for the 2026 event is Digital Sisu, inspired by the Finnish concept of sisu – a unique blend of perseverance, courage, and determination, especially in the face of adversity.
Digital Sisu invites the global research and education networking community to reflect on how a resilient and solution-oriented mindset can help us build a more sustainable future, make difficult but necessary decisions, and strengthen our community. The theme will be reflected throughout the conference programme and spirit.
The call for presentation proposals is now open!
TNC26 is seeking proposals that demonstrate the ability to turn challenges into opportunities and foster growth and trust through secure, sustainable, and open digital solutions. Submissions are welcome for both individual presentations and side meetings. Proposals can be submitted until 27 November 2025 via the event website: tnc26.geant.org.
As Finland hosts TNC for the first time, we especially encourage submissions from Finnish universities and research institutions. This is a unique opportunity to showcase Finnish expertise and innovation on an international stage – right here at home.
