CSC and Terkko Health Hub sign Memorandum of Understanding to advance AI‑driven health and research innovation
CSC – IT Center for Science and Terkko Health Hub have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen AI driven health and research innovation ecosystems in Finland and across Europe. Terkko Health Hub is a community focused on health and life sciences aiming to foster new forms of collaboration between entrepreneurship, research, and healthcare. The measures outlined in the agreement are closely linked to the activities of the LUMI AI Factory.
Through the partnership, CSC and Terkko will jointly organize public events, support community engagement among startups, researchers, industry, and the public sector, and promote AI opportunities and LUMI AI Factory services within Terkko’s health innovation community. As part of the collaboration, CSC also provides the LUMI AI Factory Hubs as a space for Terkko’s events.
Terkko’s community includes a strong presence of researchers, and the collaboration enables CSC to engage more closely with the research community. A key goal of the partnership is also to help more startups within Terkko gain easier access to high‑performance computing resources, supporting innovation through advanced computational methods and accelerating the development of AI‑driven solutions in health and life sciences.
