CSC strengthens equality and inclusion – updated Equality and DEI Plan published
CSC has published an updated Equality and DEI Plan, effective as of 1 March 2026. The plan outlines the principles, goals and concrete actions through which CSC strengthens equality and diversity across the organization. Valuing diversity, ensuring equal opportunities and fostering inclusion are key elements in building a sustainable, fair and successful workplace.
The updated plan includes an assessment of the current state of equality and non‑discrimination, as well as identified development ideas. The assessment is based on available data and the involvement of CSC’s personnel representatives during the planning process. This ensures that the actions are grounded in employees’ experiences, address real needs and support an equal and inclusive work community in everyday practice.
“Advancing equality, equity and inclusion is not a one‑off project for us but a continuous commitment. Our updated plan is grounded in the experiences and insights of our people – and in our shared ambition to build a workplace that is safe, fair and respectful for every CSCer.” says CSC’s HR Director Hanna Leimola.
The plan consists of an extensive set of concrete, time bound objectives and measures aligned with CSC’s DEI goals. Each objective includes defined responsibilities, timelines and indicators. The actions have been prepared in close collaboration with personnel and will be monitored, evaluated and further developed on a continuous basis.
DEI goals guide development towards 2030
The Equality and DEI Plan is based on CSC’s DEI goals for 2030, which form part of our broader sustainability objectives. The overarching aim is to build a more equitable and inclusive CSC.
Diversity has been defined in CSC’s Ownership Strategy (2025–2028) as a key responsibility theme and is also reflected in CSC’s strategy, where diversity and the role of a responsible employer are highlighted through the cross cutting theme of corporate responsibility. CSC’s Sustainability Programme further emphasises personnel wellbeing, embedding diversity and inclusion in organisational culture and practices, and enabling continuous learning.
“A diverse and inclusive work community is essential for us to fulfil our mission for the benefit of society. The Equality and DEI Plan supports our strategy and ensures that we promote equality with clear, measurable and long‑term actions. Our whole management team whole-heartedly supports this aim.” says CSC’s Managing Director Kimmo Koski.
